Terms of Use

These terms apply to the browser extension JSON Editor (“the extension”), a free personal project provided by SSEM DEV, an independent developer (“the developer”). By installing or using the extension, you agree to these terms. The terms of the store you installed it from (Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons) also apply.

The extension is provided free of charge and “as is”. The developer does not warrant that it will work without interruption or errors, or in every browser and environment, and may change features or stop distributing it at any time. This does not exclude any warranty that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

4. Limitation of liability

The developer is not liable for indirect, special or consequential damages (such as the loss of an unsaved document) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the extension. This limitation does not apply to damage caused by the developer’s intent or gross negligence.

JSON Editor is built on the following open-source software. All copyrights belong to their respective authors.

The developer modified the original, adding Manifest V3 support, dark mode and opening in a new tab, among other changes. The original project and its authors are not affiliated with and do not endorse this extension. The full license texts are available in each project’s repository.

The developer may change these terms and will post the changes and the effective date on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
