Terms of Use
Effective September 29, 2026
These terms apply to the macOS app SSem TouchOTP (the “app”) by Levelupsoft Inc. (“we”). The app is sold on the Mac App Store and licensed under Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA). This page adds what you should know about using the app; if it conflicts with Apple’s EULA, the EULA prevails. If this English version and the Korean version differ, the Korean version prevails.
1. License
- You may install and use the app with the Apple Account that bought it on the Mac App Store, as Apple’s EULA allows.
- The DMG version (1.0.x) previously downloaded from this website may still be used for personal or work purposes by the person who downloaded it, but may not be redistributed.
- You may not modify, reverse engineer or decompile the app (except as the law permits).
2. Your responsibilities
- For security, adding or removing a fingerprint makes the existing vault impossible to open. Making backups for fingerprint changes or a new Mac, and keeping the backup passphrase safe, is your responsibility.
- Keep each service’s two-step verification recovery codes separately. Without a backup or recovery codes you may be unable to sign in to that service.
3. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will work without interruption or errors, or in every environment, except for warranties that cannot be excluded by law.
4. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for indirect, special or consequential damages (for example, losses from being unable to access an account) arising from using or being unable to use the app. This limitation does not apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence.
5. Changes and governing law
We may change these terms; if we do, we will post the changes and the effective date on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
